The Creation of PRR2(Between Magadi Road and Mysore Road) and Bangalore-Mysore Upgraded road might reduce the travel time by half an hour.

There is also news that, Peripheral Ring Road is approved and will connect NICE Road and Eastern parts of Bangalore.

KG Layout : Features of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout

Introduction

Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout is a 4000 acre layout that lies between Mysore Road and Magadi Road adjacent to NICE Road.





Salient Features of Nadaprahu Kempegowda Layout:


1. Elevated Corridor From Jnanabharathi to Varthur.
2. Namma metro till Kengeri Satellite town and Namma metro depot in Challeghatta.
3. PRR2 - 100ft road linking Magadi road at kadabagere cross to Mysore road at Rajarajeshwari Dental College.
4. High rise buildings and commerical complexes are planned across PRR2.(500 acres are planned around the layout).
5. Sub-Urban railway to link Namma metro at Jnanabharathi to Ramanagara.
6. Huge industrial units planned across huge vacant spaces around the layout.
7. Light railway transit planned from NICE road junction on magadi road to Vijayangar.
8. Industrial development across Bidadi with a SMART CITY project launching soon.
9. BDA has announced around 5000 sites in the first phase and another 10000 sites to come up soon in the second phase.

17. The Bangalore Mysore road is announced as national highway where commuting to mysore road is just reduced to 90 minutes.
